Although January can be a cold, bleak month it does mean ‘Another year over and a new one’s just begun’ (as John Lennon once sang) and more importantly a new tennis season is on it’s way. With the construction of a new club house and the re-surfacing of our courts 2014 was a great year for Cross Hills T.C. and 2015 promises to be equally exciting:
- We will continue to develop our adult and junior tennis coaching programmes
- In conjunction with Ilkley Tennis Club and South Craven School, we will be participating in the Sport England initiative, ‘Youth and Community Strategy’ , to help teenagers and young adults to join in community sport.
- We will be commencing drop-in playing sessions one morning a week for non-members
- All this will be supported with an extensive marketing and PR campaign.
With best wishes to you all for the New Year and the new season. I can’t wait!
Glenn Frost, Chairman
